I always seem to receive
enthusiastic interest whenever I demonstrate my painting in public.
Whilst doing this painting at Slimbridge people were fascinated
by the creative process and many came back to view progress.
I have visited Slimbridge over many years since I first took part
on a painting and sketching course there as a child.
Working on a major painting
for the millennium building I wanted to produce a work, which was
synonymous with the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust. My theme came
by combining the trust logo of swans in flight with the influence
of Sir Peter Scott`s atmospheric paintings of wetlands. |
